Steel Door Institute to Exhibit at AIA Convention In Miami June 10-12

May 10, 2010 WESTLAKE, Ohio ― The Steel Door Institute (SDI) announced it will be exhibiting at next month’s American Institute of Architects (AIA) National Convention and Design Exposition in Miami, June 10-12.

SDI will join about 800 other exhibits at the event, which is the largest gathering of architects in the United Stated. There are 200+ planned program offerings, including preconvention workshops, theme presentations, continuing education learning units (CEUs) and expo education.

Jeff Wherry, Managing Director of SDI, said, “It’s important for to make as many architects as possible aware of the standards and technical support of SDI; this is a prime opportunity to meet with our client base in an educational venue.”

Extending the learning opportunities beyond the convention center, AIA New Orleans will host a variety of educational tours that explore the soulful flavor of the city’s architecture—from historic and modern, to recently restored.
