Bullet Proof Doors

Bullet resistant doors are designed to protect people and property from firearms bullets and shrapnel. They are frequently used in government buildings, financial institutions, high crime areas or any other structure where increased safety is desired.

SDI members manufacture bullet resistant doors in accordance with the various levels of UL 752. Their doors range from having the ability to withstand 3 shots from a 9mm with a full metal copper jacket and lead core (UL level 1) to 5 shots from a 5.56 rifle with a full metal copper jacket and a lead core (UL level 8).

Visit SDI Members websites for their specific product information.
